In October 2020 we welcomed the first group of AMA Pandemic Volunteers through the Balik Ugat, Balik AMA program. Elinor Gatpatan, Ting Villegas King, Esther Ral, Paz Ablan Maniba, Urbano Aguirre Sanico Jr., Bambi Ibit, Cherry Rayos Miguel were the alumni who generously gave themselves in service for the 2020-2021 year. They were joined by Ms. Marge Revilla, from Assumption College. They served as online tutors to ASEC students. ASEC is one of the Assumption mission schools where AMA has been sending volunteers for 30 years. It is also the place where the AMA volunteer program began. Although we cannot send our volunteers to their areas physically, it is still possible to serve virtually due to the ongoing pandemic. The spirit of volunteerism is alive and well and we hope to gather many generous volunteers for this effort. Thank you to our Pandemic Volunteers for your patience through all the difficulties of online tutoring! God Bless you always! To join this coming 2021-2022 batch of volunteers, please email Gamay Solis.
